Arvada Festival Commission
October 9th (Friday Night). Arvada Movies Around Town, courtesy of the Arvada Festivals Commission. Get ready for Trick or Treat and come out to watch the final movie of the season, selected by popular vote. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and favourite treats. Wear a costume with your kiddos. The Movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas at Clear Creek Valley Park, 3700 W. 58th Pl, Arvada, CO 80002. The evening begins at 6:15 PM with live music. For more information, visit arvadaco.gov. Please no pets, and remember to clean up afterward to help the volunteers.
October 22 – Sunday, October 25th. Friends of Jefferson County Library Foundation Fall Whale of a Used Book Sale, Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Admission. $12 per adult per day (under 18 and SNAP recipients FREE). Bring Your Own Bag!
